Remy is an assistant you reach by text message. It helps people who serve on a team keep up with their schedule. It’s invite only.
What Remy keeps
Your phone number, so Remy knows who’s texting. Your messages to Remy and its replies, including voice notes and their transcripts. Both are stored encrypted.
Your schedule, teams and name from Planning Center, which your team’s Planning Center administrator connected. Remy also keeps a record of what it did and who approved it.
Google Calendar
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Remy reads your events (title, time, location, and whether you’re busy) to answer questions like “am I free Saturday?” and to spot clashes with your schedule. Access is read only: Remy never creates, changes or deletes events, and never asks for descriptions, attendees or attachments.
Remy doesn’t store your events. It reads them when you ask, and keeps only the encrypted access Google gives it. Nobody else on your team can see your calendar.
Remy’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How it’s used
Only to answer you and do what you ask. Remy never sells your data, never uses it for ads, and never uses it to train AI models.
A few services handle it so Remy can work: Linq for text messages, Planning Center for the schedule, Vercel for hosting and AI, Supabase for the database, and the AI model that writes each reply. Each gets only what it needs for that job.
Leaving
You can disconnect your calendar any time in your Google Account. To have Remy delete your number, messages and calendar connection, email privacy@remy.church. We keep only the record of changes made with your approval, without your messages.
